    • Coordinated events or sales
  2. Support Traffic Generators: Stores like Neighborhood Grocer that generate significant cross-shopping should be:
    • Positioned strategically in the center
    • Given priority in maintenance and improvements
    • Used as anchors for marketing campaigns
  3. Integrate Isolated Stores: Stores with low cross-shopping percentages may benefit from:
    • Better visibility and signage
    • Inclusion in center-wide promotions
    • Strategic partnerships with complementary stores
  4. Category Clustering: The network analysis shows natural clusters. Consider:
    • Grouping similar or complementary stores
    • Creating themed sections (dining, beauty, services)
    • Developing walking paths that maximize cross-shopping opportunities

Conclusion

This shopping center shows strong cross-shopping patterns with clear anchor stores (Neighborhood Grocer, QuickBird Sandwiches, Value Dept Store) driving significant traffic. The lift analysis reveals several store pairs with synergistic relationships that can be leveraged for mutual benefit. By focusing on these natural connections and working to better integrate isolated stores, the shopping center can increase overall visits and customer satisfaction.
